Why
Sequential Autoresponders Are So Powerful
1.
You have a means to attract prospects.
The
key to this strategy is to be able to offer a valuable free training
course or other educational or informative series of messages.
The
course or information in the message sequence must be of the highest
value to your prospects.
If
you have this valuable message sequence and the means to deliver it
(sequential autoresponders) then it's easy to persuade prospects to give
you permission for you to send emails to them, in return for receiving
the messages.
You
can therefore attract prospects to your message sequence by direct
contact such as advertising.
Prospects
are more likely to be persuaded to subscribe to your autoresponder
list than to be persuaded to visit your website.
2.
You have a means to maximize the potential value of your website
visitors.
You
should be doing your utmost to get all visitors to your website to
subscribe to your autoresponder list, usually by means of pop-ups on
your website. This technique is critical if you are to maximize
the value out of the marketing dollars you spend in getting a prospect
to your website in the first place.
Instead
of your website visitors leaving your website, perhaps with a good
impression, but without making a sale, never to return, if you catch
them on an a sequential autoresponder list, you have multiple
opportunities to contact them, make offers and bring them to your
website.
3.
Make 5 times more sales by sending
follow-up messages to your prospects.
Make 5 times more sales by sending
follow-up messages to your prospects.
Studies have shown that
more than 80% of a site's visitors who eventually end up buying a
product or service don't do it on their first
visit.
It's a common saying on the Internet that
you need to contact your prospects at least 7 times before many of
them will make a purchase.
In fact here are the Official
figures from the Association of Professional Salesmen and the National
Sales Executive Association:
2% of sales made on the 1st contact |
3% of sales
made on the 2nd contact |
5% of sales made on the 3rd contact |
10% of
sales made on the 4th contact |
80% of sales made on the
5th-12th
contact |
|
What this means to you:
Assume you make 2 sales on your website by customers on
their first contact. If you don't follow up that's all you will
get.
But if you follow up many times, you will make many more
sales. If 2 sales represents 2% of the potential sales (as shown in the
table above) then by following-up repeatedly you could make another 8
sales. (=80%). total sales is now 10.
By following-up you have multiplied your sales by 5,
up 500%.
It's common knowledge that eMail autoresponders are one
way to make your site "sticky" -- encouraging your visitors to return and
make that purchase!
Almost every Site Owner would agree that a
multi-sequence autoresponder and series of suitable messages
is the single most-effective way that exists on the planet to double,
triple, or even quintuple sales .
You
can only do this effectively with a sequential autoresponder
message sequence.
So why don't more people do it?
4.
You can promote many different products to a highly targeted audience
for zero advertising cost
It
is quite permissible, if you 'follow the rules' to promote many products
in a series of autoresponder messages.
This
is a golden bonanza for you as each reader is presented with offer after
offer until eventually something hits the right spot and he
makes a purchase.
It
would be prohibitively expensive to put forward so many offers by
conventional advertising means.
5.
You can cross-promote your other websites and autoresponder message sequences.
This
is a really killer method to that will boost contact with your prospects
over and over.
In
each of your autoresponder sequences you but forward benefits on the
reader subscribing to some of your other message sequences.
When
he does, it multiplies your opportunity to place more offers before your
prospect and dramatically increases the chance of a sale somewhere down
the line.
And
as you should know, once a customer always a customer, if
6.
Increase credibility
As
you will learn from the "Take the Tour" pages in this website
and the article in the On-Track Newsletter for March 2003, your
credibility is the single most important factor in deciding whether a
prospect will buy from you or not.
You
will improve your credibility in the eyes of your prospects if you
provide them with good quality and valuable information in your
autoresponder sequences.
Of
course your messages must be of good quality and contain valuable
information - otherwise you will reduce your credibility and damage your
sales prospects.
